METOC Wave Glider equipped with hull-mounted ADCP

SHARC

Defense and National Security applications have unique requirements that the SHARC (Sensor Hosting Autonomous Remote Craft) Wave Glider is designed to meet and exceed.

This versatile platform is acoustically silent and with a low visual and radar signature, SHARC harvests all of its energy for propulsion mechanically from the ocean waves.

Power for onboard computing, sensors, and secure satellite communication links is provided by solar energy.  Two networked payload boxes and various mounting points provide flexibility for user-integrated sensor and communications payloads.
